hermela we do know police are investigating this? >> reporter:the incident is under investigation. but police are not telling us much about what they're finding at this point. but we do know this facility opened about two years ago. and hasn't had any complaints. >> reporter:and we spoke with several neighbors. who had nothing but good things to say about the family who lives there and the woman who runs thefacility. >>"we've gone to their house for family things and they've come over here and our kids both know each other. they play together outside all the time. they're really nice. they're pretty quiet. they are great neighbors. they are nice people. ago. >> reporter:the day care hasn't had any complaints since it opened in october 2014. in july a random inspection found no violations. people that live here tell us this incident has really shaken the neighborhood. >> it is emotionally the moralizing. it brings you down. i pick is every parent's nightmare. drop your children off at the day care and that is the last time you may see them. >> reporter: we attempted to talk to the family but they have not opened their door and neighbors say they have not seen them since the incident yesterday afternoon. we hear said imam of the baby teaches at a nearby school.
